CEREC CAD CAM
The latest in Dentistry where computerised digital technology is utilized for the restoration or rehabilitation of the teeth. This is possible during a single appointment using Computer Aided Design/Computer Aided Manufacture (CAD/CAM)
- An optical 3D image is acquired with a small camera directly in the patient’s mouth
- The restoration is created on the screen using the image data
- This information is then processed and electronically sent to the milling unit. Diamond coated instruments then mill a ceramic block to reproduce the design.
Cerec protects and preserves your own tooth’s structural integrity and it is bio-compatible, long lasting, great quality, durable and aesthetically natural.
Laser is used for specific treatments, decreasing healing period of certain surgeries and improving the end result of many treatments. Also used in the treatment of aphthous ulcers.
